Meet the Doctor: Nina Englander, D.C.

Dr. Nina Englander graduated from Tufts University in 1987 with her Bachelor's degree in Biology and Psychology.

Dr. Nina was in college at Tufts when she first tried chiropractic for her chronic back pain. When the doctor asked more in-depth questions about her health, she reported that she had stomach pain after every meal since she was a child. After a short time under regular chiropractic care, not only did her back issues resolve, her stomach pains disappeared for the first time in her memory. The change was permanent. This was an incredible experience that changed her life (and her career path!)

Dr. Nina moved out to Portland, Oregon and earned her chiropractic degree in 1992 from Western States Chiropractic College. She had private practices in both Oregon and Tennessee before moving to the Boston area in 1999.

In addition to having a general practice, which includes men and women, ages 0-100+, Dr. Nina has had post-graduate education in working with children and pregnant women (as well as on-the-job training as a mom!). Dr. Nina combines several adjusting techniques such as Koren Specific Technique (KST) and Applied Kinesiology, as well as various other forms of bodywork. She is certified in the Webster Technique. Nina also works with nutrition and detoxification to help facilitate the healing process.

Dr. Nina lives in Acton with her husband, two children and chocolate lab.
